A Google Analytics certified Digital Marketing and Content Strategist
Cover letter
Hello!
So, you're interested in learning a little more about me?
Pull up a chair and I'll tell you all there is to know.
01.
I ask why and am a born storyteller
Challenging the status quo, creative problem-solving and telling stories come naturally to me. Ask anyone I’ve ever worked with!
02.
I'm a task-oriented strategic thinker
I see the big picture and I do whatever it takes to get there. Whether it’s heads down working solo or leading 2-5 people on a project, I empower, elevate, and inspire others along the way and love getting down into the weeds when I need to.
03.
I’m a natural relationship builder that drives results
I have fun, make friends, connect people, treat my job like it’s a consulting gig, and bring my positive/constructive attitude to work every single day. I believe in sharing knowledge, working together, and drawing on different perspectives to get the job done.
04.
I do great things when I collaborate with others
In 2018, I co-created the #LifeAtCMHC campaign. I was relentless in breaking down silos and bringing over 20 colleagues together. We created a high-ranking landing page and delivered 120 creative assets, 66 social media ads, 9 Google Display ads, and a robust internal communications campaign for each phase.

In 2020, I teamed up with the internal communications and speech writing teams to create the What Matters Most campaign, to support employees when the pandemic hit. I also led a team of 5 to develop content and implement the organization's CMHC Gives fundraising campaign, which resulted in a 30% increase in funds raised and a 63% increase in employee participation compared to 2019. Finally, I was responsible for the production of CMHC's successful Top 100 Employer submission. I led the creative team to produce a video to show what life is like at CMHC and created the content strategy (developed script and creative direction). It featured videos shot on mobile from employees across Canada.

I believe that the sum of our work is greater than our individual contribution and these campaigns prove it!
05.
I’m not afraid to say no & have difficult conversations
I lean on my empathy and the credibility and rapport I’ve built with a person to initiate difficult conversations. In my current role, I routinely renegotiate deadlines and need to pitch a different tactic. I also rely on data and channel the powers of persuasion, negotiation, and alternative dispute resolution I learned in law to propose solutions that will exceed a partner’s needs and help them achieve their business goals.
06.
I like to geek out over data
I dive headfirst into metrics, so that I can drive insight-driven decisions when it comes to strategy, campaign, and content development. In July 2020, I completed a certificate in Digital Marketing Analytics with MIT’s Sloan Executive Education program.
07.
I create killer content & content-mixes
Whether it’s crafting content, working with my design team on creative assets, or developing a strategy and plan for a campaign or for the year, I use a human-centered approach inspired by Design Thinking. I focus on the target audience(s), on the problem/need my content is going to solve/address, and on choosing the right content format and channel mix to do it best.
"Say more with less, mean what you say, and create value" is my content motto!
