This is me

I'm a bilingual communication professional with over 10 years of experience working in the field of branding and digital marketing, including social media, and email marketing. Experienced at designing, developing, and optimizing high-impact, effective, innovative digital content/campaigns and creating a seamless and value-driven UX across digital platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, web, and intranet). Data- and insight-driven marketing and brand strategies are my secrets.

 

I'm a passionate natural relationship builder, skilled with working both independently and in large teams, for a range of organizations (Canada Post, Canadian Bar Association, CMHC). Once you get to know me, you'll see that I'm a strong leader with a healthy side of creativity, curiosity, empathy, determination, and attention to detail. I bring people together to drive results. I focus on building a foundation of trust to enable others to access their potential.

I believe in putting

people first.

Whether it’s crafting content, developing a marketing strategy and plan for a campaign or for the year, or leading a team of creatives and content writers, I use a human-centered approach. It’s one I learned when I decided to leave the practice of law and was given my first Design Thinking book by a mentor.

Here’s why I like it:

  • It forces me (and my team) to develop a deeper understanding of what the client’s needs are and gives me insight into their journey (target audience) and business objectives (internal partner)

  • It keeps me focused on listening, observing, and building empathy

  • It helps me bring the right people together (i.e., SMEs, designers, internal and external partners), at the right time, to make decisions and move a project forward quickly

  • It inherently drives collaboration and creative problem-solving

  • It drives me and my team to be proactive, instead of reactive

  • It's an iterative, agile process that allows teams to make incremental changes to strategies and campaigns based on data, user feedback, and measuring campaign results with goals

  • It enables marketing teams to map the customer journey and align its marketing strategies and activities to deliver the right content, to the right person, at the right time

  • It creates maximum value for the client, both internal and external because they are at the heart of every marketing/communication decision
